Gordon shall invest in a modern and efficient vehicle fleet, incorporating electric vehicles wherever possible, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution.

Route Optimization
Gordon utilizes advanced route planning and tracking technologies to optimize delivery routes, minimizing distance traveled, fuel consumption and particle emissions.

Driver Training
Gordon provides ongoing training to our drivers on eco-driving techniques to promote fuel efficiency and reduce emissions in our LMS platform Gordon Academy.


Packaging and Waste Management

Sustainable Packaging
Gordon develops a circular packaging solution called Gordon Circular that our customers can use to reduce their use of packaging materials.

Waste Prevention
Gordon strives to reduce the amount of waste generated and resources used by choosing circular solutions like reused furniture for new interiors. 

Waste Reduction
Gordon actively promotes waste reduction strategies by implementing recycling programs at our distribution centers and offices.

Gordon strives to power our facilities and warehouses, where possible, with renewable energy sources, to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.

Gordon shall invest in the installation of electric vehicle charging stations at our distribution centers where Gordon has electrical vehicles.

Gordon shall establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure our environmental impact regularly. This will help us identify areas for improvement and set achievable targets.

Managers will be held accountable for integrating environmental considerations into decision-making processes and promoting sustainable practices throughout the organization.

Employee Engagement
Gordon believes that every employee has a role to play in our environmental efforts. Gordon will foster a culture of environmental responsibility and provide training and resources to empower employees to contribute to our sustainability goals, including but not limited to:

  • Reducing waste by using reusable water bottles, coffee mugs, and lunch containers.
  • Energy conservation for lights and electronics 
  • Carpool, bike, or using public transportation to reduce carbon footprint.
  • Choosing environmentally friendly products and services, such as recycled paper or energy-efficient electronics.
