Shorter lead times and more frequent deliveries in northern Sweden. With a new distribution centre in Sundsvall opening in May, Gordon is strengthening its ability to deliver temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs throughout the region.

The distribution centre in Sundsvall is Gordon’s twelfth in Sweden.
Enhanced offering for medicines and temperature-sensitive goods
With the establishment in Sundsvall, Gordon is strengthening its ability to handle the distribution of medicines, which place high demands on quality, traceability and temperature control. The increased presence enables more frequent deliveries and shorter lead times, which are crucial for ensuring availability for the end customer.
Pharmaceutical logistics place specific demands on the entire supply chain, from temperature-controlled transport to secure handover. Gordon’s solution manages multiple temperature zones whilst ensuring deliveries are made with full traceability and control.

We have extensive experience of deliveries with high quality standards, and by establishing a presence in Sundsvall, we are strengthening our ability to deliver throughout the country,” says Ali Ghoce.
Large-scale transhipment and warehousing capacity
The distribution centre in Sundsvall is designed to handle increasing volumes and facilitate continued growth in the region. With modern facilities for transhipment, temperature-controlled storage and efficient workflows, the centre creates the conditions for both national and local businesses to scale up their operations.
The new terminal will also make it easier for local businesses in the region to reach customers across the rest of Sweden with the help of Gordon. All they need to do is drop off their goods or products at the distribution centre, where they will be transhipped for onward transport across the country.
Parts of the facility are also available for rent, with spaces ranging from 400 to 1,500 square metres.
