Matilda Wahrén is the new Distribution Partner Coordinator at Gordon and most recently comes from Instabee. With nearly seven years of experience in the logistics industry, she brings both operational knowledge from production and analytical experience in route planning and quality work.
"The combination of operational work and analysis has given me a broad understanding of how the entire logistics chain functions," she says.
In her new role, Matilda works closely with Gordon's distribution partners and is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day collaboration and high-quality deliveries.
"I build close working relationships with our distribution partners and ensure effective communication.This involves, among other things, checking that deliveries meet our quality standards and KPIs, and ensuring that all drivers have the right training", says Matilda Wahrén.
Attracted by responsibility and development opportunities
What appealed about Gordon was both the role and the image of the company culture.
"I’d heard very positive things about Gordon, both about the company and the culture. I got the impression of an environment where you are given responsibility, develop and get to influence things. That’s precisely the type of workplace I want to be in", she says.
She describes the role as an opportunity to both challenge herself and contribute to improvements in daily work.
"I want to take on something new and be involved in building something sustainable over time. It's a role where I get to combine responsibility, coordination, and working to improve the quality of daily tasks."
A strong team spirit from the start
The logistics and transport sector is traditionally a male-dominated industry, but Matilda's early time at Gordon has been characterised by an inclusive reception.
"I’ve been made to feel very welcome and quickly felt like part of the team, which I really appreciate. I’ve been trusted from the start, allowing me to focus on developing and doing a good job."
She particularly highlights the team spirit as an important part of the introduction.
"There's a strong sense of team and a clear drive forward. This has made it easy to get into both the work and the group, and I'm really looking forward to continuing my journey here", says Matilda
