Gordon focuses on customer value - welcomes Martin Modin and Jenny Sandström

Gordon, which reaches over 19 million Nordic customers with temperature-controlled deliveries of pharmaceuticals and food, continues its strong expansion by further strengthening its customer value works. Martin Modin and Jenny Sandström have now joined as Logistics Customer Partner Leaders.

– A strong customer focus has always been a natural part of how we build Gordon. That’s why I’m very happy to welcome Jenny and Martin to the team. Their experience and engagement will make a real difference for both us and our customers, says Ali Ghoce, CEO of Gordon.

Customer Success as a key driver

Martin Modin most recently joins Gordon from Teamtailor, where he worked as a Customer Success Manager. He emphasizes that success is not only about deliveries, but about acting as a strategic partner to customers.

– For me, Customer Success is about a deep understanding of the customer’s goals and everyday reality, and making sure our solutions help them succeed - both in the short and long term. It was precisely this long-term, partnership-driven ambition that made Gordon particularly appealing to me. There is never a ready-made formula, which makes it especially motivating to be part of building something that truly creates long-term value, says Martin Modin.

Precision in a sector under transformation

Jenny Sandström joins Gordon with experience in global supply chain and logistics, primarily from fast-moving retail companies. Most recently, she worked as Supply Chain Operations Specialist at Estrid.

Her focus has consistently been on creating sustainable and scalable solutions rooted in real customer needs, experience she now brings into her Customer Success role at Gordon.

She highlights the increasing level of precision required within the pharmaceutical sector.

– Within the pharmacy segment, precision becomes more than just a metric, it’s about people’s health and well-being. We supply customers across the country with pharmacy goods, including medications that are crucial to patient safety. That is a trust that must be managed well.

A reliable partner driving development

Jenny describes how the pharmacy and pharmaceutical sector is currently undergoing rapid transformation - where both customer behaviors and regulatory requirements are changing, not least with the introduction of new distance and online selling regulations.

– For us as a transport partner, this means we need to stay close to our customers, understand their reality, and continuously develop our ways of working in line with their needs. My goal is to help build on what Gordon is already known for; not just being a transport, but a partner.

Martin agrees and highlights partnerships as a central part of Gordon’s future:

– I hope that my greatest contribution will be building long-term, trusted customer relationships, both with new customers and those who have been with us for a long time. I want to be able to say that I’ve been part of the journey where Gordon repeatedly demonstrates that we deliver the market’s best experience.
