Ali Ghoce, CEO and co-founder of Gordon, has been named one of Sweden's 101 Sustainability Champions by Aktuell Hållbarhet
The list highlights people who are making a real difference to the climate and society, and Ali is included thanks to his commitment to making home deliveries with clear climate benefits available to more people.
A lot has happened since Ali Ghoce and Per Källgården started Gordon in 2015. Today, Gordon delivers food and medicines in temperature-controlled, coordinated flows in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. With a reach of 19 million consumers, it enables significant gains in both efficiency and climate.
Ali is also the driving force behind Gordon Circular, Sweden's first circular system of reusable packaging for home deliveries of chilled food. The system replaces disposable packaging for e-commerce deliveries with a circular solution where the packaging is returned, washed and made ready for a new delivery.
‘We see a huge potential for environmental gains, both in the private and public sectors. We want to show how to move from a linear to a circular business model,’ says Ali.
