Ali Ghoce, CEO of Gordon, has also been appointed chairman of the jury for the e-retailer of the year award, which is presented during the gala. About the Grocery Gala 2025
The grocery gala is the industry's big gala evening where all talented employees in the grocery industry around the country are in focus and get a well-deserved place in the spotlight.
In addition to the Grocery Gala, the Grocery Days are once again organised in the country; Grocery Days in Norrland, Svealand and Götaland, as well as a brand new fair for the grocery industry; Nordic Grocery Store Expo.
About the e-retailer of the year award
The prize is awarded to an actor who is at the forefront and runs a successful and efficient e-commerce with groceries that helps to create profitability, enhance the shopping experience and drive the development of online food.
How Coop Östra - winner of the e-retailer of the year 2024 - did it
During the grocery gala in November Coop East, formerly Coop Butiker & Stormarknader, as e-retailer of the year 2024. The jury's motivation highlights, among other things, Coop Astra's ability to show that it is possible to operate e-commerce stores with both high volume and high efficiency with a completely new combination of store picking and regional e-commerce hubs.
