Gordon opens new distribution centre in Gothenburg

Gordon continues to grow and is changing the location of its distribution centre in Gothenburg. The choice of premises in Hisings Backa was made because of its strategic location to important transport routes, the possibility of higher capacity and smoother loading. The move means Gordon can deliver temperature-controlled goods even more efficiently across the region.

In November, Gordon, with Amir Hashemi at the helm, was able to inaugurate its new premises in Hisings Backa, where it has moved from its previous address in Mölndal. The new premises are located just off the E6 motorway and Bäckebolsmotet, and are easily accessible in both directions.

- "The location of the new distribution centre was chosen, among other things, because of its strategic position, which provides easy access to major transport routes and facilitates fast deliveries to customers," says Amir Hashemi.

The premises enable higher capacity and smoother loading

With more loading doors, more workspace and an optimised cold room, Gordon can streamline its processes and handle larger volumes of goods.

Continued growth in chilled and frozen home deliveries

The move means Gordon can meet the growing demand for home deliveries, particularly in the chilled and frozen segment, and deliver more efficiently across the region.
