Inauguration of new distribution centre in Uppsala - strengthening local presence  

Gordon has opened a new distribution centre in Uppsala. The new refrigerated warehouse is part of Gordon's strategic focus on optimising the supply chain in Sweden. As well as meeting the growing demand for efficient, temperature-controlled logistics solutions in the region.

As e-commerce continues to grow and consumer demand for faster deliveries increases, Gordon is well positioned to fulfil these needs. By establishing a distribution centre in Uppsala, both delivery times can be shortened and transport streamlined.

Now even closer to the consumer in Uppsala

Through Gordon's co-ordination technology, goods from different Gordon customers can be co-delivered from DC Uppsala to customers around the region. Both the co-ordination technology and the shorter transport distance to the end customer that DC Uppsala enables also contribute to reducing the carbon footprint. Which is an important part of Gordon's commitment to a more sustainable future.
