Apotea partners with Gordon to offer temperature-controlled home deliveries

Apotea, Sweden's largest online pharmacy, which has always been at the forefront of home deliveries, is now further strengthening its position by entering into a partnership with the last mile company Gordon. From today, Apotea will offer temperature-controlled deliveries for all products on the Swedish market. The co-operation covers both prescription and non-prescription medicines as well as other products within Apotea's wide range of health, beauty and skin care products.

By working with Gordon, we can the online pharmacy Apotea ensure the supply of temperature-sensitive products to the whole country.

The partnership with Gordon means that, in addition to optimal temperature conditions, Apotea's customers can expect great flexibility and convenience in how and when their orders are delivered

Temperature-controlled home deliveries

Gordon covers most of the Nordic market with a reach of 19 million end customers. The terminal infrastructure and vehicle fleet are fully adapted to temperature-controlled home deliveries. To meet the specific requirements of handling medicines, the logistics flow is integrated with a digital quality management system. Here, drivers are certified and monitored in areas such as GDP (Good Distribution Practice - legislation for the distribution of medicines).
