Linus Aleberg new Head of Quality and Sustainability på Gordon

Gordon continues to strengthen its team and welcomes Linus Aleberg as the new Head of Quality and Sustainability. With Linus on board, Gordon looks forward to continuing to lead the development of quality and sustainability in temperature-controlled pharmaceutical logistics and pharmacy delivery. "It's about creating security for the end customer, who should be able to trust that vital goods are delivered safely to their doorstep," says Linus.

Linus has over 17 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked with everything from production and processes to quality and compliance in logistics. He most recently worked for Octapharma, where he was responsible, among other things, for ensuring Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance for pharmaceutical distribution.

"‘We are very pleased to have Linus on board. His expertise in compliance and quality management will be very valuable as we continue to develop our services", says Ali Ghoce, CEO at Gordon.

Increasing transport of medicines directly to the end user

Linus points out the importance of ensuring that the transport and distribution of medicines is of the same high standard as the manufacturing itself. As the export of medicines increases dramatically, and more are transported directly to the end customer, the need for clear regulations and well-functioning quality systems becomes increasingly important.

"My background in both production and quality has given me a broad understanding of the challenges and requirements of pharmaceutical logistics. It is a great feeling to be able to bring this experience to Gordon, where I see great opportunities to contribute to the company's further development", says Linus Aleberg.

Temperature-controlled transport is key

When asked about how the pharmacy segment is growing, Linus says that the improved opportunities for temperature-controlled deliveries plays a crucial role going forward. Pharmacies have become adept at offering home deliveries and, thanks to the development of cold chains, are now able to handle even more products in a safe and sustainable way.

"It is crucial that we, like the pharmacies, are always ready for inspection and have well-prepared quality systems in place. It's about creating security for the end customer, who should be able to trust that vital goods are delivered safely to their door", says Linus Aleberg.
