Frozen fresh pet food has become increasingly popular. More similar to what animals eat in the wild, the food is frozen to optimise the retention of natural nutrients and is made without any additives or grains. The Pet Pawr Group now offers home delivery of the popular food in an unbroken cold chain via its e-commerce site ZOO.se through a new partnership with last mile company Gordon.

Gordon covers most of the Nordic market with home deliveries of temperature-sensitive goods purchased online. With Gordon's broad geographical delivery reach, Pet Pawr Group can now offer temperature-controlled home deliveries of fresh food to 90% of Sweden's pet owners via its e-commerce ZOO.se.
To ensure that deliveries are at the right temperature all the way through, Gordon uses an unbroken freezer chain where all terminals are temperature-controlled for chilled and frozen goods, and the entire fleet consists of refrigerated lorries with freezer flows. Using the Gordon Hotbot, traffic management can monitor the temperature of the vehicles in real time and act immediately if a problem arises.
