Cheffelo signs an extended cooperation agreement with Gordon in Sweden and Norway for the distribution of grocery bags and for a platform solution

Cheffelo (formerly LMK Group) has completed a comprehensive procurement process for last-mile distribution and platform solutions in Sweden and Norway. The company has entered into agreements with Gordon for an extended collaboration in Sweden for Linas Matkasse, a new partnership in Norway for GodtLevert and Adams Matkasse, as well as for Gordon's platform solution in both markets.

The partnership allows Cheffelo to reach more customers, offer a wider range of delivery options, increase its efficiency and reduce its environmental impact through Gordon's coordinated network of refrigerated transport.

Thanks to Gordon's reach and coordinated flows, we can expand our already large geographical coverage area and reach additional customers with an optimised fill rate," says Gabriel Sjöholm, Nordic Logistics Manager for Cheffelo. "Refrigerated transport with a reduced need for ice bags in the cartons means an environmental benefit, which is another important advantage," says Gabriel.

To further improve route optimisation, efficiency, environmental benefits and not least the customer experience, LMK Group has also signed an agreement with Gordon Services for their last mile platform solution. This will provide a more intuitive customer experience, including the ability to track deliveries in real time.

Cheffelo co-operates with various last-mile companies in different parts of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The result of the procurement for large parts of Sweden and the whole of Norway, means that Gordon gets an increased confidence in Sweden with about two thirds of the deliveries. The co-operation is also extended to Norway, where Gordon will carry out distribution in important regions such as Bergen, Trondheim and parts of Oslo. The expanded co-operation also means that Cheffelo can offer its customers more delivery days and additional time windows on some of these days.
