Foodtech company Simple Feast is using Gordon's proprietary last mile platform to organise and digitise its deliveries in Denmark.
Gordon Delivery has quickly established itself as a strong contender in last mile logistics. After the strong expansion in Sweden, the company is now making its first international venture in connection with a deal with the foodtech company Simple Feast and launching its service in Denmark.
The basis of the deal involves the digitalisation of Simple Feast's last mile flow in Denmark. The proprietary platform connects actors - customer service, delivery partners, drivers, management and terminal/store - who need to interact for successful e-commerce logistics. To create the best possible conditions for e-commerce and the modern consumer, both machine learning and AI are used.
- Gordon has been an important partner for us during our expansion in Sweden and has played a key role in getting the customer experience right in a market that otherwise lacks digitalisation and flexibility for new last-mile flows like ours. We are now excited to also start using their platform and software in our home market, Denmark, to automate our processes, manage suppliers and routes, and increase the quality of our deliveries even more," says Sam Myers, Head of Expansion at Simple Feast.
- The market has lacked a niche platform for last-mile and e-commerce. With the experience, knowledge and know-how we have built up in recent years with thousands of deliveries every month, we can offer a good overall solution," says Andreas Viklund, CTO at Gordon Delivery.
The benefits of the solution are numerous and enable increased cost efficiency and scalable growth.
